This role will be responsible for sourcing and licensing premium content, while managing key airline client relationships. This role requires strong stakeholder management, entertainment trends awareness, and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions to ensure seamless content delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with global content suppliers, studios, and distributors (including Hollywood, international, and Indian) for licensing feature films, TV series and other relevant content.
- Manage airline client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client-specific requirements and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both content partners and airline clients to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for metadata, supporting materials (images, synopses, etc.), and ensure timely media deliveries in line with client schedules.
- Stay updated on the latest global content trends and developments within the inflight entertainment industry.
- Collaborate with the Content and Business Development teams to support airline tenders, RFPs, and proposals by developing and executing effective content strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Media, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA is a plus) from a reputed university, with a strong academic record and GPA.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in account management; experience in media, entertainment, or inflight entertainment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Industry Knowledge: Passion for content and awareness of global entertainment trends across films and TV. Understanding of licensing processes, and content windows is a plus.
- Client/Account Management: Experience in managing key accounts and handling client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (content, operations, technical, metadata) and external partners.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and a collaborative team player mindset.
